Knot In My Life

A Youth Action Alliance (YAA) involves high-school age youth in the development of anti-smoking messaging and activities in communities across the province, including Windsor-Essex County. This project is funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion’s “Smoke Free Ontario Strategy”. The objectives of a Youth Action Alliance are:

1. To empower youth to make a difference in the health of their peers and community.
2. To mobilize youth to engage in tobacco control issues.

The Youth Action Alliance is made up of ten employed peer leaders, youth 14-18 years of age, and a youth advisor who will guide the peer leaders. Stay tuned! More information will be posted as it becomes available.
