St. Ignatius Wrestling Tournament goes Tobacco-Free!

Wednesday, February 20th was a day of cheering and advocacy as YETI Peer Leaders Kathryn and Kayla

hit the gym (St. Ignatius gym that is). With their Spit/Chew tobacco booth, they held a postcard

campaign and talked to students about the harmful effects of spit tobacco and the steps being taken

to prevent and ban it. They also worked along side the Health Unit as they also had a booth demonstrating Pink vs. the Tobacco-infested Pig Lungs.

It was a fun time and the Ignatius Mascot even joined in on the fun!
