Tobacco-free Day with Leave the Pack Behind

On January 22nd, YETI Peer Leaders Kim and Kathryn joined LTPB's Communication Team Member (and YETI Peer Leader) Kayla and the rest of the LTPB staff to host LU's first Tobacco-free Day.

There was free pizza and pop given out for those who pledged to stay tobacco-free for the whole day. Many students and staff of LU enjoyed the movie reel showing old cigarette commericals, complete with popcorn!

To top it all off - there was a huge jousting ring set up in the middle of the Agora (where the event was taking place). Students could even battle against LTPB's Big Cig mascot.

Finally, there were tons of prizes and gift certificates given out to winners of the big draw at the end of the day. It was a great success and it was great to have YETI as well as MAKWA there to have a booth, assist with advocacy and of course, do the dirty work.
