The Tobacco Industry Targets Youth!

Our job is to raise awareness about tobacco related issues in our society. The Central West Youth Coalition (CWYC) is a group of students from different Youth Action Alliances all over Central West Ontario. The 9 Youth Action Alliances that comprise CWYC work in their communities with their local health-units to create social change regarding the tobacco indsutry and how it targets youth. We plan events and demonstrations for youth and the general public to increase awareness and the tobacco indsutry to make a positive change in our society.

FRESH HEIR - Haldimand & Norfolk

TOXIK - Kitchener, Waterloo, Woolwhich Township, Wellesley Township & Wilmot Towniship

REVEAL - Brant County

DETOX - Fergus, Elora, Arthur, Mount Forest & Palmerston

HCAAT - Ancaster, Dundas, Flamborough, Hamilton, Glanbrook, Stonery Creek & Waterdown

CRAVE - Burlington, Oakville & Milton Y-ACT - Cambridge & North Dumfries Township

SWAT - Guelph
