How to Reference your Information
Guidelines for referencing materials:
- If you use information taken from any source, whether it is a website or a book or journal, you must provide a reference using a footnote or endnote.
- There are many different formats for referencing information. Usually, a reference should include the information below. Ask your teacher for the exact format you should use for your project.
- One format: Author's name and initial, (year) article or chapter title, journal or book title, Volume, Issue, pages. Retrieved from (date) <URL>.
- Sample reference:
